Practice

Three ways in

Mysore

A Mysore class is the traditional way Ashtanga yoga is taught — self-practice in a shared room, where everyone moves through the same sequence at their own breath rather than following a teacher's count. The heart of the shala.

Led Primary Series

The full primary series counted together in Sanskrit, the whole room moving as one. Held once a week alongside daily Mysore practice — a complement to it, not a replacement.

Guide to Ashtanga

Guide to Ashtanga takes you through the standing and finishing sequences. It's taught at a general count, with time to explain, and props and modifications are used freely so the postures can be made to suit whoever is in the room.

Sawasdee kha. I was born and raised right here in Hua Hin, and I'll be the main teacher at the seasonal Ashtanga Yoga Hua Hin.

After years of practicing and learning in the UAE and Mysore, India, I've come home to share the practice that shaped my life in the town that raised me.

Since 2022, I've travelled regularly to Mysore to study with Sharath Jois and have continued my studies at the Sharath Yoga Centre (SYC). These journeys continue to deepen my understanding of the tradition and inspire the way I share the practice with my students.

Whether it's your very first class or you've practiced for years, I'm happy to meet you on the mat.
